It was one of those days that we will never forget. We remember where we were the moment we first heard about the attacks. We remember crowding around the television, hardly believing what we were were seeing. Shock, horror, and fear. So many lives were lost that day. So many forever changed.
We owe it to those who died, those who lost loved ones – to our children and to the future of our country, to take few minutes today to remember. Our hope is that all of us will work a little harder to be kind, reach out to those who are different than us, and work together to make our own little corner of the world a little better than we found it.
We are filled with gratitude for those men and women who serve as police and firemen and women, and to all of the individuals and families whose service in the military requires so much sacrifice – so that we may continue to enjoy the freedoms that allow us to live and work as we do.
God bless America.
