We have long since known that our customers are the very best! It is because of them that we continue to be here in this little town doing what we love to do. And so, we are very excited to share another customer spotlight today! Something that makes sharing this spotlight extra fun for us, is that the Jensen Family was one of our very first customers to buy a trailer from C&R when we ventured into the RV sales business! We value or relationship with them, as customers and now as friends, and are so thankful for their loyalty to C&R.
Thanks for participating in our spotlight! Tell us about your family!
Hi! We are the Jensen family, which consists of myself (Shawn), my wife Laura, and our two children Carson and Lexie.
Why did you decide to invest in a trailer? Is it something you have always done or is it new to your family?
Camping has been a part of our lives from the very beginning, and has been part of our family traditions that go back to when Laura and I were younger. That is what we both did with our families growing up. We didn’t go to hotels, we went out west and camped under a cedar tree! My parents asked me after I had started my own family if they had been wrong by taking us kids camping instead of fancy trips- but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Today we are doing the same with our family.
How has your trailer changed the way your family spends time together?
We never go camping unless we are with family or friends. I can’t even imagine going camping without them. When we plan a trip all of the family and friends are involved throughout the whole process, whether it is planning meals, planning bike rides, or deciding where we will be going to explore.
Where are your favorite places to take your trailer?
We love the spring Easter trips to Black Pine, our annual summer trip to Island Park, and the in-between-time to our property in Lava. To cap the year off it is a must for our family to go out to Clear Creek for the deer hunt. The icing on the cake is taking the side by sides and four wheeler’s with us. We’re always looking for new trails to lead to fun adventures!
Can you share a favorite family memory while using your trailer?
Our favorite memories as a family would have to be all of the trips that we do with our extended family. To be able to go out and relax and reminisce about the good old days is just hard to beat! There’s not a better way to bond with family and friends than sitting by a campfire telling stories, roasting marshmallows, and enjoying each others company.
We also lived in our trailer while we built our home. It was a good thing that we just happened to stop in at C&R one day to just “look” at trailers. If we had not bought the one we did, our living quarters would have been a little too tight while we were living in the trailer! It was a good experience for our family to live in the trailer while the house was being built, and if we had it to do again we would!
How was your experience with C&R?
To start off, I have known the Croney’s since high school and always seemed to think they were a bunch of good guys. My first trailer experience with C&R would have been shortly after they started the RV business. Laura and I decided that we should go check out their new line of trailers. We met with Chris and he showed us what they had. Since I had practically lived in a trailer my whole life, while camping with my parents, I knew what I wanted and at the time, they didn’t have it on their lot. However, they were more than willing to sit down with me and go over what they could build for me. Afterwards, we had one that fit our liking and made to order. (I think we were the second family to order from them.) From then on until now I have spent a lot of money in there and have been treated great- including everything from buying another trailer to toilet paper for the trailer! The family owned atmosphere can’t be beat! We would definitely suggest C&R to anyone in the need of purchasing a trailer.
We want to thank the Jensen family for sharing their family memories with us as well as being fantastic customers! We loved seeing their beautiful pictures (they just might have made us miss summertime a little bit!) and the way they spend so much time together as a family as well as with their extended family and friends, doing what they love.
It’s not every day we get a chance to chat with one of our very first RV customers. We’re so happy to see what the RV lifestyle has created for their family and to see they are still at it!
